Why I Hired Linda Strang In 2001 I was selling my home in Wixom and house-hunting in the Howell area. I found a home north of Howell that I really liked, so I made an offer and it was accepted. Linda Strang of The Michigan Group was the selling agent. I accepted an offer on my home in Wixom which required me to be out quickly, so I asked the buying agent representing me to adjust the move-in time on the Howell house. But the agent (who was from another real estate firm) was young and still "wet behind the ears", and she wrote a new purchase offer instead of just an addendum to the accepted offer. In the meantime, Linda had received a higher offer for the house, so she accepted the better price for her clients, and I didn't get the house.

At the time I was upset; I thought Linda was the "queen of mean" and I had a few choice names for her as I desperately shopped for a home! But I found a home I liked even better than the first one, and lived there for seven years. When I had to leave the Howell area and sell the house, I remembered Linda and called her. I hired her as my realtor because I wanted someone looking out for my best interests like she had done for her clients in 2001.

I know I did the right thing calling Linda because she sold my home in what has got to be the toughest real estate market of our lifetimes! So now I only have nice names for Linda Strang, and would recommend her to anyone buying or selling. She's a good realtor to have on your side!

As a young couple, my wife and I were in search of buying our first home together. We were worried about finding the right buyers agent for us. We wanted to find someone that cared about us and recognized our needs. We had met with several agents during the search of our future home but for the most part these agents seemed too much into the business of selling homes and not necessarily caring enough about the persons buying or their best interest. We decided to give Linda Strang a try after seeing her name on a house listing that we were interested in viewing. Upon that first meeting with Linda my wife and I were able to let our guard down and actually work with Linda on our home search project. Linda was not interested in selling us a home that didn't fit our family. Linda was always ready and willing to meet with us to view homes and talk about homes on our watch list. One great thing about working with Linda was learning from her years of experience. When we viewed homes with Linda we would openly talk about all the pros and cons of a house. We always appreciated Linda's input because she was able to share with us more than we could initially see. Linda also had a lot of much patience with us. After months of viewing many homes and several homes many times my wife and I were wondering how much longer Linda was going to stick with us but she always continued to work with us in a very consistent and positive manor.
